Project: The Escape Hotel (1948)

Description:
One of the few remaining examples of Mid- Century Modern style architecture in the City of Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Develop by Broward County’s prominent contractor Bob Gill. The Tiffany House was the first of Gill’s Tropical Style resorts. The Escape features the first hotel swimming pool open year round, with tennis courts and a nine-hole pitch and putt golf course.
Restoration, Stabilization, Adaptive Re-use of the 17 free standing two story historic buildings . Compatible design of a new townhouse development south of the historic hotel.
