Project: 20th Street Fountain

Description:
The West 20th Street and Alton Road Fountain designed by Architect John N. Bullen was built in 1924, a classical inspired fountain features four beautiful tiers and a large circular pool. The scope of work included: Field documentation and assessment of existing conditions. Structural Stabilization, removal of non-historic pebble-dash finish, restoration of finishes, new equipment, plumbing, lighting and electrical systems. Due to the existing deteriorated conditions (both structural and finishes), the restoration of the fountain became cost prohibited, therefore a decision was made to recreate the fountain.
