Project: 28th Street Obelisk and Pump Station Restoration

Description:
Restoration of the (1926) 28th Street Obelisk and Pump Station with a total of 1,551 Square feet in building area. The scope of work included: Demolition of a non-historic addition, restoration of historic finishes, restoration and replacement of doors and windows, new stair’s handrails to meet current code requirements, recreation of missing ornamental fountains, structural repairs, new mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems and a new circular paved plaza 60’-0” in diameter. The project applied and obtained a waiver from accessibility requirements from The Florida Accessibility Council.
