Project:  The Security Building (1926)

Location:  Miami, Florida

A Neoclassical Revival high-rise structure designed by Robert Greenfield. This building displays the only French Second Empire style mansard roof in downtown Miami. It has a unique curved copper-faced façade edged with an elaborate decorated parapet. The façade is cladded with natural granite and ceramic tile. Styling details include pilasters bordering bay windows and a twelfth-story cornice and frieze.
